Do you think there will be another shining young star?

Last time i know liverpool all the sudden young players rose to occasion like robbie fowler and michael owen. they are really great at that kind of times.
My question is, do you think there will be another Robbie Fowler or Michael Owen cultivated in Liverpool young squad?
Come on, even Pool's rival, Everton started to breed new talents, example like Rooney. If Pool continue to focus on foreign players, they will soon suffer.

I do hope in times of striker crisis, miracle will happens to liverpool when a young star rose to occasion in big match and score bagful of goals that they can forget about signing another striker from other club.
p.s. hopefully that life-saviour is not scoring against Arsenal.

the only young striker i can think of is florent sinama pongelle. Hope now he can rise to the occasion.

pongolle seems to be too small sized to handle the rigours of EPL though...just like Reyes last season...he'll need to toughen up n get bigger sized imo

Just that they're not put into any test .
I believe those fellas like Whitbred , Ostemobor , Patridge are all young stars , the difference is , they don't have the chance to play like Mick owen and R.Fowler did .
Remember Robbie Fowler alone whacked 5 goals past Fulham in his debut ?
Now with the lucrative UCL into the club's main frame work for revenue , it's risky to play those youngster and lose precious three points each game .
Last time where got UCL ? Young fellas always got decent chance , lose lose lor , now different la , L'pool just can't afford to lose un-neccessary points and lose the lucrative UCL spot !
That's one reason why we don't see much young fella ! -

I really fancy Ostemobor to have another crack in the first eleven. He plays right-back if I'm not wrong and he did pretty admirably considering he's young still.

The greatest moment of that game was that Seaman trip Fowler in the box , the referee pointed to the spot , and Fowler said no , he fell ! But the ref insist on a penalty , just bizzarre !

if this Mellor continued to score the next match, liverpool might delighted that they have hidden talent afterall. -

If a talent is not given any chance to play, they will stay hidden.
Hope Ah Ben can give Mellor more chances and sharpen his reaction and vision on goal.
