hello, you are not christian, how do you know that from a christian perspective, he is absolutely right?

Ok then.
Thanks for also agreeing that unique points in a religion dont make it more true. :)

sgdiehard,
as I have mentioned, not all christians believe in the Trinity too.
The Mormon christians in Singapore are one such group that dont believe in the Trinity.
JWs also. :)
Please dont say they are not christians because its very rude.

If I may do a little correction? The Trinity is 3 in 1, Three Persons in One Godhead. See http://www.christiananswers.net/q-eden/edn-t002.html

hohohoho....you speaking on behalf of the Mormon, and who says the Mormons are not Christians? insinuating that Mormon are not christians is very slimmy, and rude.

Tcmc,
Then why do you think it is not being rude to us when you insist that they are Christians even though they deny a cardinal doctrine of the Christian faith? Makes me wonder if you really know anything about JWs and Mormons.

BIC
I am not rude because i dont call either trinity christians or non-trinity christians "unchristian".
I recognise both camps as christians, under the umbrella of christianity with the person of jesus as the central theme.
But i think its rude to just label another christian group for being "unchristian" just because they are different from you.
Different =/= Automatically wrong
You have very weird equations in your heead, BIC.

sorry, when I talked about the 3 in 1, I was thinking about The 3 in 1 Super, 3 parts to serve one function, In the definition of three persons in one Godhead, it is 3 in 1. I stand corrected, thank you.

Christians know the difference, but you assume that we don't know and you put on the label for us and on us!! That is weird and rude.

Just because you are so politically correct and being liberally inclusive does not mean you are right. If rude means to offend someone, then I can also say that you are being rude to us when you anyhow call people Christians. And I did not say that being different = wrong. But neither should you anyhow label others as Christians when they do not pass the test of orthodoxy as defined by the major creeds. You simply try to portray yourself as some enlightened politically correct dude at the expense of truth, diluting, distorting, and contorting the fundamentals of the Christian faith. You, who have no proper foundation in Christianity, can decide who is Christian or not? Sheesh, you don't even demonstrate basic knowledge of Christianity!

You said "christians know the difference"
Are you referring to the trinity christians or the non-trinity christians?
Because both sides do know the differences too!

Your world is - Non-trinity christians are not christians whereas christians like you are christians.
BUT
the real world is - Non-trinity christians AND trinity christians are all christians, living peacefully with each other, both with jesus as the central person.
:)
You can live in your world, but take note of the real world too

huh....you again differentiate christians and call us trinity christians and non trinity christians? we don't make the difference, there are many other doctrines which we may differ, but we don't call us trinity christians, non trinity christians, christians baptized by sprinkling, christians baptized by immersion, .....for a non christians who differentiate and call us that, you are very rude!!

what logic are you referring to? that non christians are not in the same world as we do? I was refer to the "your world" and "the real world" mentioned, Tcmc is certainly not of the same world where Christians are, but we are coexisting in the same earth. Hehehe...you take that as we live in different planet?
No. He nt Christian can judge us do does tat mean we Christian can judge nonchristians? R u sure u wanna go along tis line? It wil end up in in war.

Don't see him as judging Christians, except for some stupid remarks, and it is not for any of us Christians to judge, Christians or non Christians. We are of different world because our values are different, our world views are different, what we look forward to are different, ... even among christians, christians of different races in different places are also living differently due to different cultures...how does that end up in war?
But my point is that people outside my world, or should I say my family, are beginning to put my family members into different categories, that I think is uncalled for.
What war???

No, the way I understand Buddhism, there is little similiarity, if any, between Buddhism and Christianity.
There are many schools of thoughts for buddhism....I cannot say for all, It'll be to general....but what I know is there are some similarities....anyway u can believe all that you want....Hahaha!

Its not the Christian trinity for sure....anyway u can think whatever you like....the buddha said what u think will affect your own reality....so, for now we just cool it and focus on the Christian Trinity, becos this is still a christian forum, is it not ? Hahaha!
Originally posted by sgdiehard:hello, you are not christian, how do you know that from a christian perspective, he is absolutely right?
Ermmm....I did studied the bible as well as many scriptures of other religions....I dun pretend to know everything but I found home with buddhists philosophies....and the most important of all I found true peace and happiness.... Hope u guys honestly found true peace and happiness too, with your christian beliefs....
War in a sense tat if we start judging those nt in our world, we will then have a ping pong battle which will end wif both sides injured wif no winner.
Hey demon bane, I dunno if u replied tis before but may I ask y creation doesn't go wif u?
