I mentioned before that if one takes a rather superficial approach one can find many similarites among the religions. This however, proves too much from too little. To believe that the universes will fade in and out is to believe that matter is eternal. This is of course a faith metaphysical position to hold. Scientifically speaking this is impossible. There is no known natural process that can achieve this. The amount of energy involved would be infinitely enormous. Even a bouncing ball will eventually suffer from "heat death" as in there is no more usable energy left and the ball will just stop bouncing. The Christian worldview does not posit that matter is eternal but that God who is Spirit is eternal. God is thus not subjected to the laws of nature, in fact He is the Creator of the laws of nature and upholds them.
Okay ok I respect your choice of faith and religion....lets not fight over this....Hahaha! I didn't say that matter is eternal....In fact for some buddhists, The Buddha is eternal....in spirit/mind...He came down to earth (as a human) to lead people out of sufferings....
To add on, those issues r minor issues. But when salvation, heaven n hell is concerned there's a huge diff btw buddhism n Christianity.

since you reply, could you clarify pls? other religious figures are satanic isnt it
Personally I dun consider them satanic. Although I noe y other Christians may say they are. Cos the bible does record tat when Satan rebelled n left heaven, he took 1/3 of the angels wif him. However, the bible did nt specifically name the angels who rebelled wif Satan. So to me it's nt conclusive if Buddha, guan yin r part of them. My stand is they existed as humans, taught gd to the ppl. Why I dun follow them? Simply cos I believe in creation n Buddha n Guan yin are nt the creator. They themselves were created beings.

Most of them dun care about The Heaven. All they care about is they make it to a heaven/nirvana.
Nirvana is not in heaven or hell or space or planet. neither is it a place or destination. nvm you wont understand what Nirvana is.

So why u dun choose Hinduism ? They have a creator too ! Just curious....

well since you use bible to explain, you are entitled to your own views, but I beg to differ. This is all I want to say.
Cos in Hinduism salvation is by good works nt by a r/s wif the creator. I gave a full explanation to tcmc already how I eliminated the religions one by one until I was left wif christianity. But the premise is one have to start of creationistic which I was all along. Also to the creationists, r/s were created by the creator n if u observe the nature of creation, inventors/creators usually create wad they desire. So a creator of r/s must be one who desires r/s wif his followers. Heaven is part of creation so its the home of the creator. The family concept on earth was also put in place by the creator. So be comes the qn, when a baby is born, how does it get to be part of the same family as the parents? By doing gd or simply cos the baby is the child of the parents?

So have u found true peace and happiness in your religious beliefs ? If so, congrats!

no Buddhism does not have a creator, neither is salvation depended on an external source ie god or whatever. salvation depended on one self. this is the difference. of course this is the buddhist views, you may beg to differ.
So to me Christianity is more complete cos it teaches a creator God who desires r/s. which is why he created r/s on earth n he considers us his children which tallies wif the family on earth. Lastly, God himself is 3-in-1 which shows he is not standalone but a unit called God like a family unit bearing the same surname.
Which is why I dun Tink Christianity n Buddhism shld be compared wif each other. We shld compare Christianity wif Judaism n Islam, other creationistic religions.

despondent,
What constitutes "complete" is very subjective.
To some people, complete doesnt mean need to have a"beginning" and "end".

I told you before but it didnt get into your head.
Like CHristianity, Hinduism, Islam and Sikihism are by FAITH AND GOOD WORKS.
You dont understand other religions you dont anyhow explain...
Another thing about Christianity is their concept of Trinity....in Buddhism, it just means Past, Present and Future Buddha...another hmmmm similarity....I think....anybody wanna correct me ?

Yes if you dunno other religions well, dun say, you may look a fool.

Your christianity is also based on FAITH and GOOD WORKS.
Most christians would agree that Faith without works is dead and that belief and faith alone will not save a christian.
So essentially, christianity IS the same as many other religions including islam, hinduism and sikhism.
Most religions require believers to exercise FAITH/BELIEF and also good works.
There is no difference in fact.
Where is the r/s wif the creator? Also is the creator himself a unit called God? I never said my definition of " complete" is universal. We agreed religion is personal. Demon bane wanted to noe y I dun choose hinduism so I was juz tellIing him y.
A God who is a unit n salvation by r/s r BOTH present in christianity. If we go by these premises, can u find another religion tat fulfills both premises? Like I said, this my own way to discover the true God. U made it sound as if I was saying it is the universal way which I was not.

I HAVE TOLD YOU BEFORE, which you choose to selectively ignore.
Similarly, islam and sikhism HAS A GOD WHO IS A UNIT AND SALVATION BY R/S and GOOD WORKS.
In islam, you need to believe Allah FIRST, then do good works, similar to CHristianity.
In sikhism, its the same thing. Call upon the name of the Sikh God to be saved.
You dont know other religions well, thats why you anyhow say
Yeap, lets keep an open mind....and listen to what other faiths have to offer....
Going by ur premises...faith, gd works And may I add, a r/s wif God. In Christianity, u cun go heaven without tat r/s.
Is Allah a standalone God or a unit of several identities called God?
