These sorts of people who ask for money, are the worst type of charlatans and conmen.
I prefer they sell vacuum cleaner or time-share packages rather than cheating people in this manner.

Although a small number of priests have indeed been guilty of the sexual abuse, the vast majority of them are innocent of these crimes.
Certainly, the Catholic clergy has made mistakes in handling the cases. Nevertheless, media reports frequently painted the bishops' (the priests' bosses) actions and motives in the worst possible light. Eg, it was reported that some priests were transferred around to deliberately cover up the abuse. In fact, in many such cases, psychological 'experts' had assured the bishops that the priests in question had been treated successfully and presented no further danger. Also, it is inherent in Christianity to try to forgive and give someone a second chance as we all imperfect and fail sometimes, whether Christian or not.
Again, everything mentioned here is not meant to excuse what the guilty priests did, but to give a sense of perspective. The Catholic Church has already embarked on a process of healing and change to minimise such issues in the future.
If the Church apply God's law to priests, what if the victim is not a christian?
If I am abused, I immediately convert to Islam. Then we punish the priest according to Islamic law?

What ever happened to the term "as poor as a church mouse"? I suspect they mutated into rats... Fat ones at that. I have no qualms against CHC's wealth... except for one... The head priest has a super star as wife... Or is she still a star?
And hows the case going where the church bought some property as investments when its registered as a non profitable organisation? I'm skeptical of media bias....

this tithes of 10% of monthly pay is just so wrong. u shouldnt dictate how much a person, even if they are your members or from the church. giving is from the heart. keep saying giving in the name of god is just so wrong also, cos you are using god to ask for money from people. they should have change tact, say give , but give from your heart. dun give if you cant afford it and give any amount as you wish, not the 10% though. I am wondering if the tithes is enriching the pastor? a pastor should live a decent lifestyle, not opulent lifestyle as driving a merc, living in a landed property with a small garden. if u have to travel, travel in economy or budget airlines cos those money are from the members.

I recently was pissed off by one who has waken up then got into it again and try getting me to church. What is it with these christians? They don't want to respect others freedom and choice. She knows pretty well it was the christians and the teaching of this religion that pissed me off and still insist I go church.
