Good question, Once again this has to do with the black and white thing. The world
isn't that simple and it is becoming a lot more complex with each
passing day. God does not punish according to the old testaments ten
commandments anymore, rather he punishes based on the sins of the heart
and mind. Let me give two contrasting examples.
You are born into a good society with good moral values, therefore you
can decide easily for yourself what it is that makes a person "good" or
rather "holy." However, there are many cases where people in the world
are not as "blessed" as you are. So God has to judge from the light
emitted from their souls, but then how is that fair to those who are
born into unjust environments? Is God so cruel as to merely cast them
away? No, hardly.
The thing is that if you are a person born of the cruelest
environments, and you had to steal, survive, and murder for a living,
and that was all that you knew, then wouldn't that be extremely unfair
to be condemned to a hell on earth, only to be condemned to hell for
not knowing any better? For a lot of these people, it is what comes
from inside of them that matters. If for one day, for even a single
instance, this person who was raised in this environment can ever
sympathize and refrain from killing a person, then in the eyes of God,
this act of refraining from killing is worth more to God than anything
I or anyone born of a good environment could ever do. For a person with
no moral background, coming to his own senses and realizing the pain
and sadness he brings to others is a greater act than anything you or I
can do, who do know the difference between what is good and bad.
I wont mind go to hell to meet up many good hearted and kind pple.
I dont want to go heaven that is crowded with many christians pple.

Did you really read all the threads before posting all those ? Anyway it doesnt matter which religion or what that you believe in, all comes down to doing good and being a better person. Thats the utimate aim of religion.

You are right TtFu.
Do more good deeds, will make one's a better person.
...and regardless of going heaven or hell...doesnt matter.

When did he amend the rules? At which point did he stopped punishing according to old testament? Did the people who died before the change get the chance to appeal and be rejudged?

hi, dude, unfortunately that is not what christianity is all about. They believe only the grace of god can save them and not good deeds. God's grace leads to salvation.

From New Testament onwards. Due to the death of Christ on the cross changes it.

Did you read my examples ?
When one's alive, one's a non chris.
When one's died, family convert the deceased to chris.
Will one's go to heaven? Where throughout one's life, he is a non chris??

I am afraid to disappoint you that non of the christians will convert the deceased. Deceased as stated is dead, how to convert them. Conversion means they themselves have to pray the sinners' prayer.
You are amazing!
Lots of terminal ill patients are like that.
Gonna died, quickly convert to chris, not one's will but family members.

Yes, sir. This time you got it right. They were converted before their death. This is pretty unfair. It is a little unscrupulous for them to take advantage on the frail and dying.

If you are saying is true. Then thats abit sad, but no harm also to them. Since they can get strength beliving in christainty, they belive that they are going to heaven, and when they close their eyes, they can have peace

That is what I meant...I remembered my late father lying on the bed, then 2 nun came and gave him blessing...thankful to them...they never preached my dad...just give blessing...seldom met such a wonderful nun....

Put it this way, will true Christians do the above? Take heart, those actions are not consistent with the teachings of Christ at all, so those who perform the above are not truly adhering to the faith.

Nuns are catholics and catholics are less aggressive. In fact, they are more accommodating and understanding.

How you know they can get strength believing in christianity ??

I agree with you. Sad to say, true christians are only minority. I hope there will be more belonging to this that you mentioned. This way good for 3 parties, themselves, God and people around them.
To be fair, I used the word "minority" because I did meet very few nice sincere christians. So far I came across one non Christian converted to Christianity because of the good behaviour and character of one christian.

God will give them strength, don't believe , go ask christians.

2 groups, minority and majority. You already know which is good and which is bad.
