What's the best top 5 RPG u ever played?

for me its chrono trigger,kingdom hearts and final fantasy series on the ps2. another favourite is fable and Knights of the old republic on the xbox.

basically, Deus Ex is a first person shooter with a bit of stealth elements (think thief Lite) and you gain experience points when solving puzzles or completing missions. which can be used to increase skill points such as "pistol skill" "rifle skill" "swimming skill" "computer skill" etc. kinda like in an RPG, and these skills will determine how u play your game. if u wanna be rambo, you can max out in your rifle skill for example, and go in guns ablazing. or you can increase your lock picking skills and computer hacking skills so that you can go past enemies without so much trouble.
Deus Ex is set in the future, and you are a nano-augmented agent(now you cant get cooler than that) through out the game u will find nano augmentations to put on your body, for example "ionic polymeric gel myofibrils implanted into leg muscles enables agent to run faster and jump higher" LOL. Deus Ex makes chemistry and biology fun, serious. and what augmentations u have can also affect the way u play. get a augmentation that offers physical protection can enable u to fight better. or something that increases your accuracy (by doing something to your retina, nanotech roxorz!!) or if u are a backstabber, get something that enables you to run silently(nano computers embedded in your feet make calculations and enables you to walk in perfect balance) and you can run up to someone and whack him on his head or something. lots of others too.
the storyline of Deus Ex is very very nice too. besides, in the game you get to visit US, China and France. cool.
but dont get Deus Ex 2, heard it sux. if you are planning to buy Deus Ex 2 actually, then my review would be irrelevant
