Xbox overtaking PS2 in singapore? i believe it's highly possible. cos if u look at it, Xbox is like most of the time giving out free in some contest, subscriptions to what what what, for example starhub maxonline. u can get it free 1 way or another.
also the Xbox marketing is better than PS2. every computer roadshow or exhibition, surely will have Xbox 1. look at Funan IT mall, every level have x-box. -
Its possible, considering many of PS2 hit games are going over, etc. DRIV3R, EA Sports titles, GTA, Burnout 3...
One thing xbox lacked is a decent controller. The Dual Shock 2 is way more comfortable. -
guess marketing is very important.do u know microsoft loses money for every console they sold?they dont mind losing money to gain market share and give gamers what they want.not like sony who gives empty promises.i rem they once said ps2 will have toy's story graphics

It also must be made known the PS2 is not pushed to its limit in terms of graphics. You must also realise that PS2 was launched years ahead of XBOX, it was a technological breakthrough back then.
But then, what is important in a games platform is the games itself. Not the graphics. I prefer a game of Pac-Man to Ninja Gaiden anytime. -

but twp years is a long time in the area of technology, don't you think? no one is denying that xbox has better graphics anyway. but a good console platform has to give more than graphics.. good controllers, good game selection are just some of it..
i used pacman just as an example.. a good game is not all about graphic.. pacman is still one of the top-playable game in history. but yes, give me pac man anytime over ninja gaiden. ninja gaiden may look good, but many have complained that it's way too tough to enjoy.
each game platform has their exclusive. ps2 also have their exclusives like clank and ratchet, and jak. nintendo also have theirs just like xbox. it's natural that publishers want to go cross platform because they want to earn more.
but going back to graphics.. look at games such as FF or onimusha 3 or winning eleven.. the graphics are good enough for most ppl.. not sure why it doesn't impress you.. -

you play your xbox, i play my ps2.
if i want better graphics, i will go back to PC.. ps2 and pc covers most games.. you can't play them all.. never play also won't die

So far, Microsoft has declared that it will place emphasis heavily on XNA, their new programming platform architecture. That is to say Microsoft is depending on the software edge.
