Flight sim for the PS2.

This is old news. Aerodancing 4 (Jap) or Aero Elite Combat Academy (US) out in March 2003. Its still one heck of a flight sim on the PS2. (I think there's a PC version...) Those of you who don't own a powerful computer (Like me...) and want to experience how a modern fighter handles and fight would want to get this game!
You'll get a free flight mode which I love, an air to air mode, ground attack mode and more. You'll have many terraing to choose. There is one with an aircraft carrier. This is the game to see if you really want to see how to peform a real carrier landing. It so realistic.
Aerodancing 4 utilizes an excellent replay camera. These screenshots are from an actual in-game full-screen replay!

Nope. The joystick is a PC joystick. It cannot be used for PS2. For that game, I simply use the standard PS2 controller.Originally posted by jasmine17:So the joy stick is for this -

Aerodancing 4 is all about realism. If you love realism, you'll dig that game. You can activate landing gears, air brakes, release fuel, activate afterburners etc... You can take off and land at your own will. For the terrains, you can even shoose different weather such as raining weather, night, evening etc...
The weapons are even more realistic! For SRMs etc heat-seeking missiles, then cannot be fired head-on at the target. SRMs requires heat-signature which are only effective when the enemy's back is facing you! Also to add, when an enemy fires a missiles at you, countermeasures such as "flare" or "chaff" will be deployed automatically.
There are also helicopters to fly and big cargo planes such as the US-1A flying boat or the Kawasaki C-1 Transport.
In the cockpit view, pull a hard turn, you'll see the pilot experience a "Black-out". Just like real-life, a "Blackout" occurs when the pilot pulls too much Gs. 1 G is equivalent to the weight your standing on the ground. When entering a turn, Gs tends to increase. You might hit 5 - 6 Gs. If your 50Kg, hitting 6 Gs would mean your 300kg in the turn! Blood will then rush to the bottom of your body, thus causing a blackout. -

No, no C-130 sadly. Many planes are actually missing in Aerodancing 4 such as the A-4 Skyhawk. The did have Russian's MiG-21, MiG-29 and Su-27 which I love. Lets hope missing planes are in SEGA's next game tho...Originally posted by kopiosatu:got C-130????? -
One thing I forget to mention is that you can peform mid-flight refueling with a KC-130 refueling tanker on the "Monument stage".
