  just like any meal that contains stuff which is pointless and is part of uncontrolled madness, i don't want any part of it.. like sharksfin.. which is pointless, tasteless and useless...
  
  fact: if you boil finger and toenails long enough, you get the same texture as sharksfin.. they're made of the same stuff.. cartilage... people eat it for snob appeal, blinding themselves to the true facts.. what is delicious is the broth.. eat it without the fins, it tastes the same

  actually, watching a show the other day.. they were eating steamed hornet larvae.. supposedly tastes like shrimp
  
  if you think about it, they are pretty much the same things.. one in the sea, one on land...
  
  i think the western cultures ruined us... we think of these things as "yuck" but according to the fellas in there, all cultures except the western culture eat bugs and stuff..
