the rationale between the older man is that females mature faster than males. an 18 yr old gal may have the same maturity as a 20 or even 22 yr old guy. of course these are generalisations again, and i know there's been study done on this topic, if anyone's really interested i'm sure they can find out for themselves online. -

i think 1 reason why gers prefer older guys is....
gers tends to be more mature than guys of their age (what they thought)
and thus they feel it just nice to get someone 3 yrs older...
