How many telephone phone socket do u have at home??where are they???if u got three telephone wall socket, one used for modem, that mean the line from wall socket must be connected directly to the port called line labelled on the modem. And the outlet port called phone go to microfitler then to the phone. For the other two telephone wall socket must be attached with microfilter.IF u got three phone , all must be attached with microfitler.I ask them to do housecall for $104 or line check.cos line check is usually ok.You are using winxp or win98.You try to upgrade your modem driver and try from dlink website.I using singnet broadband.Originally posted by jasmine17:Think house more than 10 year. quite true. the norm is at least broadbandOriginally posted by Parka:That would be a bit slow considering the content people put on the net nowadays
Yes. Cable is better. A typical download speed for cable is probably around 100 kbps while for broadband, its probably around 10 - 20 kbps. But you'll have to consider the cost of cable. Its more expensive...Originally posted by jasmine17:cable better ?
