  last resort.. it said that 1 hit with Squall's limit break should have killed it
  
  with Ceberus, aura, 5 perfect limit breaks later from Squall, it's still there and killed me...

  check what region code DVDs your PS2 plays first... usually Region 3.... but a lot of DVDs are Region 1 now.. your machine will not play them

  i think your box or manual would have... if it's a PAL set, a lot of DVDs cannot play already... most are NTSC

  seeing you do get a lot of cash, try getting a "made in china" DVD player from Shinco or Enzer... they will play ANYTHING... MP3s, WMAs, VCDs, DVDs, SVCDs, CDs and whatever's in the market...
  
  i think they sell for around $150
