Games like bubble bobble or puzzle fighter are fun and cute. Recently there are the sims which is also low on gore and fighting. However most games are bloodthristy like Counterstrike, warcraft. are there any other games for girls ?

well, there was Ecco the Dolphin.. and if you like these, got Crash Bandicoot and Gex...
as for gory games, those you mentioned aren't considered very gory... the king of gore has to be the Mortal Kombat series... also Silent Hill and Resident Evil -

there was one supposed to be worse than that... it was supposed to be called Thrill Kill.. but when the company was taken over by another, they pulled the plug..
and.. uhh.. currently obsessed with Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance trying to get as many koins as possible to unlock the characters

Hmmm.... you know, when you want games that are girl-friendly, you should really look at the GameCube. Afterall, Nintendo's main policy on games is that 'they are for EVERYONE.'
Here are my recommendations of GameCube games that are good to go with your sisters, mothers, girlfriends, and the open-minded, non-chauvinistic guys.
Multiplayer games:
Super Smash Brothers Melee
4 people whack each other using special moves, martial arts, and any items they can grab hold off. Throw a Pokeball at a friend, and watch him/her cries as Legendary Pokemon Zapdos appears, and then laugh as his/her character gets zapped by Zapdos's repeated lightning. Oh yeah, did I mention that the animation is all cute? And, and that it stars classic Nintendo characters, so you can watch Mario beat the hack out of Pikachu? Super Monkey Ball 2
a bunch of monkeys trapped in balls, getting from point A to point B, travelling across dangerous platforms. This simple-to-play game has you tilting the level floors, rolling your monkey ball into the goals without falling off. If you get tired in the main game, there are a plethora of party games that will keep the whole family entertained. Some people even like the party games more than the main game.
Mario Party 4
Basically a board game that has all 4 players participating in a team minigame every turn. I've even saw 4 big grown men laughing their butts off while playing this game, once. Serious.
I'd stop for now, because I don't know if I'm really wasting my time. Anyhoo, do some research on those titles (READ: GO TO GAME REVIEW SITES AND SEARCH FOR THOSE GAMES), if you guys are looking for something for girls to enjoy. I'd be glad to recommend more if that's what you want.[/b] -
