Think could be quite worth it considering that it is actually a computer which is used to play games...

i think PSX is this integrated PS2 and a home entertainment system or something...
as someone who played games a lot, i look to see what kind of software it has.. and potential...
so far, the sales of PS2s are way way WAY more than the XBox and GameCube put together...
this means that game publishers will tend to write more for the PS2

this is the thing both Sony and Microsoft were thinking of doing..
it would be an integrated "Entertainment/Internet system"
imagine.. you could use it as a computer, a gaming console, a DVD player, an internet interface console....
now do you know why Microsoft is willing to lose money for each XBox sold? Each XBox actually costs more to produce than the list price...
imagine the penetration into households if the next generation machine becomes THAT set-top that does everything... and imagine the captive audience as well as the power that comes with it...
