  u can play wow for free on private severs. the wow client is downloadable with a free trial and if you like it, buy the full game and pay monthly to play on blizzard severs. otherwise you can visit sites like toxic wow and wowchamp to create an account on a private sever, download their launchers and play for free with a smaller, non-local community.

  for free play those crappy ones like silkroad ectect.. to pay play the cool ones like EVE online(awesome) or wait for Conan to come out.
