GTA 4 in singapore?

no news yet about MDA's stand on this internationally acclaimed yet highly controversial video game series.
mass effect was banned for a SHORT inappropriate sex scene but was later released with an M18 rating after consumers lodged complains... who knows what MDA will do about GTA 4?
now for a GP question: What are your views on this? Discuss.
personally i think it will be a major step backward for the local gaming industry if gta 4 is indeed banned. the gta series is one of the most well-received and revolutionary video game series out there. -
