i just finished playing far cry yesterday. it's a great game. i love the challenging AI and beautiful graphic.
the sequel will be set in Africa, using a new engine and will be released next year. it will not be developed by Crytek the company who make the first game because it has sold all of its rights to the Far Cry series to Ubisoft, the publisher.
secondly the main character u played as in the first game, Jack Carver won't be returning as well. instead the player chooses one of 12 different mercenaries to play as.
sci-fi creatures such as the Trigens from the 1st game will not be featured as well.
with all these said, i guess the sequel is going to sux.
