ive decided to get one, but nt sure of certain prices of accessories or wadever in sg.
standard nds lite can get ard hw much now?
does it comes with charger?
how much does R4 costs?
how much does a mini sd card 2gb cost? -
Nintendo ds lite nowadays can get for ard $220 although i got mine 2nd from friend , yes it comes with charger as a package definitely , whoever ask you to buy separate is trying to chop you . R4 cost ard $60 outside but i got mine for only $53 on 2nd flr after some bargaining , 2g micro SD card i forgot liao but i got my 1g micro SD for $19.50 at sim lim square 4th flr best bargain . Reminder , R4 uses MICRO SD card NOT MINI sd card .

total will be 310, with a imported set. anything ovrpriced above? -

My gf bought it 2 weeks back, here is the breakdown
NDSL Crimson / Black US Export Set $249 (The shop did a 1 to 1 exchange with the charger for free)
Blackhorn case with Grips $15
Blackhorn Screen Protector $15
Sandisk 1GB MicroSD $25 (Add $20 more for 2GB)
R4 $44
Total $348
This is a package deal, therefore you might think that the MicroSD is expensive. But for me, I prefer to get everything in a shop, as if there is any problem with anything, I can just ask the shop people.
And it did happen that the 'L' button was faulty after I got home to test it on games. I went back down to the shop to ask for help. They cant repair it too, so they offer me a 1 to 1 exchange for the set.

Btw, where did you get your quote for the Crimson / Black Jap set? -

You need to update the firmware for the R4(latest ver. 1.11) to play Legend of Zelda, it works fine on mine after updating.

If you take a look at the website I gave you, their export set package is $328, thou it is only 1gb, but it will give you the chance to check everything out. If you want 2 gb, add another $20 more. Therefore, the price is almost the same if you get it locally. The package I got include everything, and they help you apply the screen protecter too, as they are expert in it, helping so many people to appy before -

Go http://www.r4ds.com/download-en.htm and download the english kernel.
Unzip them and copy all to your micro sd card and thats it. -
