i was oso very into dis game wen i saw it. bt wen i heard tat u could choose to pay to gt the elite status, i gt kindda turned down. waitin for 31st to see the result of it b4 commiting into purchasing it.

I don't like the policy of having to pay then can get updates etc ley . Thinking abt it now , anyone can tell whether worth to pay the online money anot for elite membership ?

well, u can start by nt subscribing to it till u r able to loot or happen to come across an elite equipment, look at the stats difference den consider whether to upgrade urself to an elite member. i believe elites r oso able to pvp unlike normal players. so if u r a pvper, den u hav to subscribe to gt tat privilege.

the monthly payment for elite status only applies to online play right? so i assume their online play is something like a MMORPG right instead a deathmatch type of gameplay commonly seen in shooter games right?

it's currently nt out yet. i believe it will b out on the 31. and yes, it is an mmorpg, bt in first or third person view. a whole new experience.

actually, i think HGL can consider as a MMOFPS, something like Quake or DOOM in a MMO context lol.
there's apparantly different modes for P2P, and of course, if you want the beat gear, sure will be from paying for online play package

if i never read wrong, elite n non-elite players can play with each other how are non-elite players going to see the content if they join up together? -.-

The contents are primarily stuff like weapons/armour/spells/items. So you can see them but you just can't use them.

i'll buy it for it's campaign storyline. not that much interested in online play though.

Just afraid of an immature SEA community, like what happened with sGE.
Initially for GE, at least 30% of it was made out of Americans/Europeans, and there was a nice mix. After SoTNW was announced to be free though, they all went back to the USA server, and the community was dominated by Singaporeans, Malaysians and Filipinos.
Before that, the attitude was "BAN ALL BOTTERS!"
After that, it became, "So what if they bot? You're all just jealous!"
I'd honestly rather hop onto the American servers if it weren't for the latency, and if it weren't for the fact that all of my local friends are likely to be on the SEA server.
On top of that, IAH is so afraid of losing paying customers, they don't dare to ban some of these botters. -1 for IAH. -
