  all i know that Xbox loses money selling the consoles but earn from the games

  i think not just xbox. same applies to all console as well. game makers must pay the console company moeny so that they can publish the games to be played on their machine.

  ps3 has exclusives like killzone 2, final fantasy xiii, metal gear solid 4, lair, heavenly swords, littlebigplanet, uncharted, ratchet and clank, infamous, home(a online virtual world) and LOTS more.
  xbox 360 has exclusives like... heck just get a good gaming pc. its no.1 title gears of war will be ported to pc with extra levels and stuffs. bioshock will also be on windows. the highly anticipated halo 3 will most definitely be ported on windows too.

  hmm... still affordable. why it seems like there's not much local discussion ps3, the online games, firmware updates, etc one?
  
  i read alot of rave reviews and lately very tempted to buy a set. know of anywhere i can get at the cheapest price? and are there anything important i should know before buying one?
