there was a time i was master of MK1.. my friend was invincible in MK2.. i had a round of applause in a melbourne arcade at MK3 when i did a Sub-Zero Animality -
in this clip, there are quite a number of scenes where the younger brother of sub zero fights with scorpion.
but i like the part, where the armies of good and evil clash.. -
oh yeah.. i proved to people that there was a Reptile in MK1 in the arcades

there was a version on the PS1 with "Brutality" finisher which no one could reasonably do..
it was a button combination of about 25 hits to be done in about 6 seconds
in MK3, i used Kabal a lot because if you spin someone, you can get that enemy for a 54% combination -
the stupid shang tsung looks so old and gay now.
my fav character in mk3 was kabal.. -
but sub zero> kabal, because of that ice clone technique.

there was a bug in the arcade version of MK2 when you use Shang Tsung...
you turn into Sub-Zero, you can keep doing the first half of his fatality and keep freezing the enemy again and again until you revert to Shang Tsung..
you can turn into any other character to do their fatality...
friend used to turn into Scorpion.. Hellfire fatality...
Ice and Fire fatality! -
get close, jabbing punches and then spin...
btw, in MK2, i've only been able to finish the game with Kitana.. -
i still rmb, in mk3 motaro was soo damn bloody difficult to beat.. even much harder den shao kahn..
sheeva was good on him though..
my sub zero got owned bby him naturally due to his projectiles immunity. -
i beat him with Sub-Zero.. be brave, dash and bash.. but that's after many deaths

in MK3, the Lin Kuei went robotic and turned people into robots like Cyrax.. those other ninja do not belong to the lin kuei clan from which sub zero came from.
the other ninjas were mainly ermac,rain,reptile,khameleon..
scorpion was from a rival clan to the lin kuei, he got killed by the sub zero in mk1. on a mission, and thus his clan was wiped out.
the scorpion which is a living wraith den killed sub zero, which later became noob saibot..
the sub zero u see now is his younger brother.
most of the other lin kuei ninjas became robots like smoke,sektor and cyrax..
i know its confusing but nvm. -
btw scorpion later became allies or friends with the young sub zero, after he realized its no longer the same sub zero that killed him, after he saw this young sub zero sparing somebody's life.
and sub zero if u win the game with him, ultimately became the leader of the lin kuei and became an ice god. but wasn't an official one.. -
and it all started with Raiden..
loved his MK1 fatality -
so all those that are 'revived' are like... cyborgs.. interesting. i remember playing a version of a game. an action rpg of sorts. with subzero without his mask. i'm assuming that is the younger brother. very very interesting.

i also remember. at least 8 years ago. there was an MK movie. if you guys didn't post this thread. i would've forgotten it already.
