  then go ahead, 328 is not too expensive.... dun think u will get SONY warranty for that , but who cares about sony warranty...i never use it anyway...

  u mean like if u brick ur psp ?
  
  U can sell some parts of ur psp .. like LCD, buttons.... then take the money to get a new one...
  
  Sony would not entertain u if u use homebrew and screwed ur psp... Thus, use homebrew with caution~

  the homebrew is some other program that can be used on ur 1.5 psp.
  
  When u run it, depends on ur homebrew, ur psp will restart, then this time, ur psp became let say 3.10, then u can play new games...
  
  When u off ur homebrew, ur psp goes back to 1.5, original Sony firmware...

  u wanna get GTA because u wanna downgrade ? is that so ?
  
  if u wanna use GTA to downgrade, i dunno where u can that GTA....( maybe rent it or buy 2nd hand )..
  
  If u wanna buy and play only, u can buy it from anyway... New batch of GTA cannot use to downgrade....its oledi been patched.

  I get a v1.5 psp, so can play homebrews, but in order to play homebrews you have to have a UMD in the slot.

  fyi, it's wise to choose GTA since it's has some fun factor and holds up a couple of space so it wont eat into ur mem stick.. but it's loads considerably slow when u play it on the UMD.
