Hi, my laptop can play HL2 Ep 1 but i wonder why like 5 mins into the game story a Runtime C++ Error would pop up and have to terminate the program.
Microsoft listed that its a known problem with MSVCIRT.dll and MSVCRT.dll when they are version 7.0.xxx and that older version will not have this prob.
They also said it would be in the latest service pack but neither was it in.Hotfix have to call their support...so troublesome
So i download an older version of the two files and replaced the one in the system files(yep OS files,risky
) but STILL got the error..wa lau eh,now i've nothing else to do.
Anyone got this prob as well?
