Anyway, come to think of it, will the kid be that rich enough to purchase something that costs so much for his age unless he's really rich? I'm not saying that my fren is not at fault but it takes 2 hands to clap. When there's a demand, there're bound to be offers being made.
Yes, it is wrong for him to cheat a kid's money but wouldn't the boy's sister (elder sister) be smart enough to tell him off?

It's not scamming. First of all, you shouldn't buy or sell Asiasoft Account by knowing that it's illegal. It's wrong of my fren to sell but it's also wrong for the boy to buy. So both parties are at fault in the beginning.
It is also wrong of my fren to "take back" his account knowing that he has already sold it to someone else but it's not against the rules and laws of the game to retrieve the account that is registered under your IC Number. In fact, by paying $5 at PCBunk, you can retrieve back your account with all the items intact.
Since it's not against the rule but it's against integrity, it's up to my fren to decide whether or not he should get back his account and for this instance, he did.
So why are u complaining? By all means it's not exactly scamming. The account was indeed sold but it's not recognise in the eyes of Asiasoft. Since Asiasoft owns the accounts, they have the final say.

There will be ksing in every MMORPG. But normally, the player who ks ppl are usually low lvl players who don't know where to train and/or don't understand the gameplay yet.
I don't play maple, i am playing this game calll "Pristontale" Its a old game that launch far earlier than maple, diablo 2 and other game. I had the same problem too, alot of low lvl players are ksing one another at the being of launching. But as we lvled up, and grow stronger, we don't ks each other at all. (But at the point of time, those lower lvl still ksing each other, no idea why lol) I believe Maple is having the same situation, i doubt high lvl players like 100++ 150++ still ks one another right? (Unless its play hates or rivalry) -

so u end up with chars, running all over ksing ppl. and guilds taking pride in ksing.
not very surprising, considering maple has so many kids playing compared to other games. its a simple game, after all. -

it might be like that in Pristontale, but ine MapleSEA, even those high lvl players ks newbies. maybe that's why people hate maplestory too much? -
I also use to play mmorpgs, it is indeed a waste of time, but there are good points too.
1. At least they are spending time infront of a computer, not doing some bad things somewhere.
2. Can make friends.
But can really be addictive man haha.
