I found the info on the screenshot you posted.
It's a NES clone of the SF2, look at the screenshot of the title screen, no "capcom" or any company name on it. The years say 1996. -
i played from SF2 onwards
that time not everyone can afford Sega or Nintendo like we own HP now
one Sega console i think cost $200 (?), so it took my dad sometime to get one -
some arcades in singapore can still play SF2. the difficulty is very tough.

it took me my first paycheque to get a PS1
and my fave SF game was.. SF zero alpha or something like that
my all-time fave game on the PS1 was Tekken 3 -

Can remember sf1 was first released on pc engine home console and during that time , very few pple know whats the use of shoryuken and needless to say this move is seldom used . And the haduken of that time was really quite slow in speed and no combo bonus were given either .

thks TS for correcting my thoughts that gen and adon were SF zero characters. lol.
i saw nintendo or pirated version before. i started with SF2 as well and think only bugis has the most collection of SF games. as compared, SF2 is the most difficult .
still remember zangief has the hardest moves to do, followed by fei-long.
anyone remembers all the characters in which when are they introduced?
