  Read the manual to see if the power usage is the proper one and matches the local power point voltage or not. Else blow the adaptor of PS3 then you know.

  i will spend days of sleepless nights cracking the software, using an emulator to run windows xp on the machine. i finally succeed, it takes 5 mins for windows xp to boot. my computer took 15 seconds. nonetheless, countless people applaud my brilliance at achieving such a senseless feat. i am happy...
  
  then i realised it was irreversible. i can only run windows xp on my ps3 from henceforth. i cry for being so stupidly brilliant.

  before u can do that, u will need to slowly key in a user account using the controller, after that log on the net to patch your PS3 which will take u half an hour or more.
