i read the hong kong KOF comic. they actually gave iori quite a good storyline and character development.
if memory serves, the story is something like this. in KOF 96, both kyo and iori falls for Kasumi. but she only like kyo. iori was heartbroken as he can't get Kasumi's love. and then Kasumi died and iori turns to the dark side something like that.
but actually i find that iori is not that bad. -

HK comics ar... go starting from 2000 onwards then follow official story, if nt its crap. iori's always single and kyo gt a stable gf named yuki.
my fav' will be k'. prove to be useful in every versions' appearances. -
after more than 10 years already, iori is still wearing the same old clothing. so is clark and leona as well. majority of the other characters more or less change their clothing from time to time.
