  The new design is less than two-thirds the size of the original Nintendo DS and more than 20 percent lighter (from 275g to 218g), has four levels of brightness control, as well as different (and presumably more appropriate) button placement.

  DS Lite is definetly a great improvement. I like its slimmer design and that the mike input is now in the center of the unit.
  
  With the on/off switch being moved to the side (IIRC), there's less chance of accidently turning the thing off.

  sux i prefer psp
