Xbox 360 or ps3?

  actually.. the xbox 360 is more powerful than the PS3. bigger numbers do not necessarily mean more powerful machine.
  
  only major downside is that the games are still in DVD format.

  Sega and Nintendo was around longer than playstation. But playstation still outbeat them and got their market share.
  like sega and nintendo.Longer doesnt mean better or more powerful. 1 day Sony will fall too.

  Dont forget , microsoft is the richest between ALL gaming companies... they can control the market easily , starting by selling their consoles cheap and killing the competitor , the ps3 will only be breifly more powerful because of bluray , but blu ray is the prodigal son of the high definition development , i d rather support what microsoft supports , HDdvd... btw... the ps3 is like sony's backbone... if the ps3 fails... sony will be in the red... they are reporting annual losses in their electronics side... and $400 million to develop the ps3... you can imagine the price i can safely tell you the cost of the ps3 is about $800-900 usd , as reported by merril lynch... thats sony's cost... i dont wanna imagine their sale price
