  I was thinking whether 2 buy star war: knight of the republic 2: the siths lord after hearing so many problem with it.... need some advice on whether to buy this or wait for age of empire 3 relase....

  problems? what problems? think they should have released patches by now.

  But there still many bug here and there causing the game to crash....

  the advice to check forums is sound, but note that some of the fanbois who post at official forums make a mountain ouf a mole hill...
  
  I bough kOTOR 2,
  quite stable for me leh..
  only a handful of CTDs so far .., still have to remind you the developer Obsidian has a history of producing Buggy/unfinished (but GREAT) games..
  
  Though I didn't complete the game after playing more than halfway thru a few months ago
  dun get me wrong..., I LOVE it and feel it's better than KOTOR in everyway.
  but I heard the story is lef unfinished and the ending leaves alot to be desire..
  
  and it hurt esp bad considering the set up and middle porion is so GOOD..
  
  so I want to wait a while and prepare mentally before I tackle the ending..
