  But I read somewhere that this extra power are likely to be redundant...atleast for the first few releases of games.

  I wonder what is the significance of this number 1080p? And I wonder what it means to have x 2 channels? Does it mean it is possible to have two HD TV connected to a single PS3. If that is the case....gosh! split screen games will have a totally added dimension
