  just went to check out games this afternoon. i saw most of the latest games uses PC-DVD and i dun have DVD drive so means cannot play... sianz... is it now all the games use dvd liao ? or my pc lagging behind time...

  where got? should have both CD-ROM and DVD-ROM version of the game. but considering nowadays games comes in a few Gigs of space, it's inevitable that one day they are going to convert to DVD-ROMs.
  
  so do yourself a favour, get a DVD-ROM now. it's relatively cheap.

  let me see, Half-life 2, Sim 2, Unreal Tournament 2004, Everquest 2 and many other i believe, are realesed in both DVD-ROM and CD-ROM version.

  yeh...dual layer soon? up to 8 GB storage capacity if games installation takes up that much
