i have been thinking of getting a ps2 or ps2 slim but could not decide on any. I heard that the old PS2 is better,but currently, its impossible for me to get a brand new ps2 ever since they stopped producing it. i heard of many rumors and the pros and cons of the 2 consoles. these are wad i haf consolidated ...

-bulky
-powerful fan for all-round
performance
-sliding eject disk rom for easy loading and hence protect the ps2 lens inset.
-harddisk slot for storing games without the hassle of switching discs through the downloading of games frm friendly webby(wonder how many people did that although i din noe of any1 who does it)
-mod chip known -tried n tested - aka perfect knowledge for consumers like us. Friends : messiah 2,messiah pro 2,dms

PS2 Slim
-petite
-tiny fan for movement of air-flow(gets heated up easily without proper/cool ventilation in the room)
-exposed lens aka the signature ps1 design for disk loading/lens exposed systemn hence increases the risk of lens damage
-mod chip status unknown -tried n tested by salesman- consumers doubt remained at constant high,ceteris paribus. alien: matrox infinity
