in case i dont understand the cryptic japanese language, i actually bought the chinese version.
the learning curve of this game is steep. if u havent play any of the GT series before, u will take quite a long while to find it fun. a friend of mine curse and swear by its difficulty level and gave up liao... such a pity
the tuning part is pretty extensive and detailed. from suspension, to gear ratio, to downforce, to tyres, to brake balancing, to weight shift control.
tuning of the suspension alone is chim enuff already, adjusting the front & rear spring strength, ride height, front & rear shock strength, front & rear camber, toe adjusting, and anti-roll bars.
i used to be expert in dirt tracks for the previous 3 GT series, but this time dunno why i find it much more difficult in the handling.
but now they have a b-spec mode, where u can leave it to the AI driver to drive ur car. and u juz act like a F1 manager at the pit stop giving instructions on when to speed up, when to overtake, when to pull up at the pit stop to change tyres and refuel.
but the AI make mistakes too, e.g. spin at corners, bang onto the road divider, etc. juz need to give the AI more exposure on the track and it'll gain experience as it drives.
i usually use the b-spec mode on endurance races, which can last at least 2 hrs on a single race.
