  i saw PSP selling at seow choon yesterday and i asked the price - OMG $845!!!!! anybody interested in getting one or already have one? i definitely interested in buying one but the price is absurb!

  seow choon always overprice one or maybe they import directly from japan that's why so expensive. cos PSP won't be launch outside japan until later this year. better go other shops compare the price. or wait for the price to drop.

  with $845 i can buy a PS2 and a X-box and still have extra left to buy games.

  Pls lar. That is a Fucked up price. Its not even released in singapore. They buy it frm ebay then sell in singapore The retail price shld only be $389 at the most.

  The PSP that is on sale in Japan will be different from the PSP's that will eventually launch worldwide. The difference is the screen. The Japanese PSP's will have a screen made by Sharp whereas the Worldwide version that will be released outside of Japan will have a screen made by Samsung. The Sharp screens are apparently better quality. I haven't seen the quality of the Samsung screen so I cannot comment on that.
  
  Also all games can be played in Japanese or English as it allows you to choose. All the games are region free but the region coding still applies for films. There are already devices on ebay which allows you to play all regions. Strange, as only Japan have released films for the PSP so far.
