that's the reason why my friends chose the US version insteadOriginally posted by BeEtHoVeN:got world of warcraft already
a game that i will not miss for a million $
my advise is that although the asian servers will be less laggy, but the koreans and chinese will converse in their language, u will feel left out if u are not well-versed in their language....
for WoW, u need teams, soloing won't take u too far
i got quite a number of singaporeans inside us servers, if u are interested, pm me, i will tell u the name of the serverOriginally posted by spaded:that's the reason why my friends chose the US version instead
asian server can bond with fellow sgreans also!
i can't be sure about the figures seriously ... but u will be able to find singaporeans inside the game, that is the best answer i can say ....Originally posted by faithblade:Just a few questions BeEtHoVeN, how many singaporeans are there in the US server and how do you guys find time to play with the rest of the mericans as we live in different time zones?
I play NWN and no matter how many servers I go to, I face the problem of getting up in the middle of the night just to find the right team or the right players awake.
... not really leh, i get abt 340-450 ping usually & it's fine for me so far. Usually what lags for me is AH ..... & even the US ppl lag when it's peak hour at the AH, so there!Originally posted by faithblade:WOW for us singaporeans will be laggy.
Actually, 60days game time card is based on the duration of time you play; it's not based on days/months. Let's say if you play world of warcraft for like 3 hours a day. So, 60days of playtime will last about 8months if I'm not wrong. But, if you play 24hours a day, you will only play for 2 months .Originally posted by p1ll0w:Ive been playing Wow the moment it launched. I can tell you its a good game but not a perfect.
For example, there's problem of lag and also getting ganked if your playing in pvp servers, etc etc.
I am watching the game's development and see if its worth the $$$ to continue. FYI, its like SGD$25 per mth.
yup, i am facing the problems of the server crashing due to overload .. imagine going to AH and seeing nobody thereOriginally posted by p1ll0w:Ive been playing Wow the moment it launched. I can tell you its a good game but not a perfect.

I know that because I'm playing World of Warcraft for 3 months with a 60days prepaid card.
ummm .... i think u'd better go read ur validity lol! the 60-day timecard is valid for exactly 60 days after it is activated. The reason you are probably still able to log in is because when you purchase the game, it come with an initial 30 day access! For the collector edition, there is also an additional 10 day guest pass which works as a 2nd CD key, effectively you can create 2 accounts with 1 purchase. hope this clarifies things a lil bit.Originally posted by Bronze:Actually, 60days game time card is based on the duration of time you play; it's not based on days/months. Originally posted by Bronze:umm actually .... NO P2P MMORPG works this way, if not, every company would go broke pretty soon & you'll see games shutting down real fast! Go look at your WoW account management page:
Actually, All MMORPGs' payment are based like that. I play DAoC too and I paid for 6 months and it lasted for 2 and a half years. For your information, for those who use the prepaid card, 60days prepaid cards last about 6 months average, but, the 30 days free after creating an account will be counted as days/month. So, you better play allot for 30says cuz after 30 days, you will be using your real money to play the game. Not to fret though, a game time card can last pretty long.
yup, on Dragonmaw Horde. Go see the realm thread on Gaming Forum as well or hardwarezone RPG dungeon for other SG players & where they are.Originally posted by BeEtHoVeN:Tx u playing WoW ?
