How u define beginners? Few years in photography of buses with no improvement at all?Without sunlight i can take perfect photos. Netural lightings but of cus find spot where bus is not moving so that the photo is not blurr.
No one taught me photography. U can ask sbs_boy or sbs9816e instead. I learnt all by myself.

Take for example, SBS 9888 Y. He jus take up photograhy just few months back. Aren't his photos up to standard? Good camera without a person with skills is not of any use at all.

Shall we laud you incessantly for picking up photographic skills swiftly and by yourself then? The basic point here is everyone is learning, and that includes you. While you can barf while looking at how horribly the photos are taken, your caustic and contemptuous remarks are certainly of zero help.
If you are so pro as you claim, wouldnt it be great if you can teach him some photo taking skills? :) Then the whole bus community can benefit. Of course, if you are reluctant to, perhaps due to your self-centredness, then you are not obliged to do so. Pardon me for making this blunt statement, but you should descend from your ivory tower of sheer complacency.

Pointers are everywhere in this thread. We teach and the result is the same. So what's the point now? You all simply dont learn and now you start to blame me for being blunt to them. What i would like to see is improvement results and not always the same standard. If 2 years of photography without improvement, what's the point of people guilding? Pointless.

You still don't see the point.I won't even dare call my pictures good. They simply serve the purpose I set out to achieve with each picture I take.
Please have some humility. If someone wants to share some tips, good or bad, it is with good intentions. If the tips are awry, guide them back to the correct track.

You can start first by phrasing your sentences in a non-defensive and aggressive manner, for instance.
Eg. You all simply dont learn and now you start to blame me for being blunt to them.
My point: I dont remember you trying to teach me, or me blaming you in first post. So whats with the defensive usage of words "you"? I wasn't even blaming you in the first place. A reasonable postulation could be your hypersensitivity, or your inherent limited linguistic abilities.

You can hope to see improvement, but you certainly dont have the right to demand improvement in skills.
Like what 9888Y mentioned, you can teach them whenever possible, but if they just ignore your sound advices, you should just ignore them.
If you are a teacher teaching the academically weaker students, do you just give up and feel its pointless teaching them, just because they dont show an improvement in results?

A person with a long experience with photography taking photos which seems to be like a basic user, what you tink of him? Despite photos shown in the thread, no improvement made. What's there to give pointers when people dun learn at all.
Those people who know me down here should know that i am not a person who like to humiliate people. So why always these few people wanted to argue your way out with me when others dun? Simply they LEARN while you will simple DONT. -
