Still keep in contact after break off?

I just broke off from an intense relationship. We have serious personality clashes
It was the first relationship for my Ex. She would like to keep in contact with me as she feels that it will be easier to get over it if we provide each other emotional support. But I think otherwise, as it will be very hard for me to get over her if we still keep in contact. I really love her and I am still feeling quite hurt. What do you think? Is it better if we cut off all contact for say a month? -

If you think she's worth it, then you should be a good samaritan and get her emotionally stable.
Thereafter, pick up and move on. It'll hurt more to see her going her way, but still a good deed done.
Well...if you think you should take a break yourself. Then got to respect yourself too...leave her and don't suggest a cut off period.
Occasional calls is ok. But keeping minimal contact is best.

i think try to get her out if you think she's worth it.. i know its hard and harsh on you but thats your choice.. if not i think you shouldn't keep contacts with her.. try not to.. not simply cut off..
less contacts good for both of you.. she should try not to rely on you to help her get over~ -

Thanks for all your advice, all made sense to me. Sign..as if I am so strong, think I need time to heal myself too and decided to minimise contact with my ex. Still got an SMS from her yesterday but think will be lesser and lesser. One thing good about this relationship is that we are very frank with each other, so frank that we are very sure we definitely will not be happy together.

It depends on why she wants to keep in contact... to keep u as a friend as she knows u can be of help in future is ok...
but u say she thinks it is easier to get over eveything with supports from you... then i got to say she is wrong... to get over a relationship, you should be the last person she seek help from, and you are in no position to help either, it will only complicate things... -

But to completely sever the emotional attachment ain't easy.
For 6 months i don't know what happened. But there must be more then mere arguements...don't have to eleborate here.
The shorter the time of relationship, the more chances of recovery. Though not confirmed.
Just as long as she doesn't still want your attention from time to time. You should be safe.
