Those obvious target aint the real chief, to what i know. Some big businessmen, who seem harmless most likely are. Well, SS created alot of excitment and job in Singapore for CID, Police, cleaner, vice, and so on. That is true.
I know of a businessmen, nice man, soft spoken....but he is the head of a SS in the West. Those yaya papaya all are just the section head..... -

most of them are in disguise......they attend ministerial functions, big shot's birthday gala and all tt......the appear to be wealthy businessmen in their own right.....but their income is largely from under-table dealings.....

hmm... i feel that they are required in singapore... like the other replies, if there is no more SS in singapore, then lotsa of ppl will lose their jobs... y the government don catch the big shots... simple... the big shots r all important figures involve in the world economy... once u start to catch all those important figures, the economy will plunder... causing more ppl to lose their jobs... would you wan tat to happen? there is no way tat we can destroy all the SS activities in SIngapore... i think wat the police are trying to do is to limit the number of activities in singapore instead... juz my 2cents point of view la...
