now is economic downturn. u will see more divorce coming up.
for guys who fulfill this salary criteria or more. advice for u all is buy a condo first. then allow the girl to move in and stay with u. but dun get married or even ROM. and dun share the condo ownership with her. in bad times, it will be easier to break up. tat is what is happening in the western countries now, cohabitation, no commitments.
that is also wat i intend to do. haha

No la.. to me 4k is a hope and an ideal figure. Like I would like to score 6 distinctions for my O levels. That is an aim But in actual life, if u know how to plan and save, 2-3k is also enough. Meaning, no 6 distinctions but all scoring B3s is also good enough to qualify into JC. Of cos when u post a question like that who on earth will say "my hubby earn 2k can liao. 500 for expenses, 500 for housing 500 for car and 500 for kids's education. No savings" Of cos will aim for more la..

Ya...so Singaporean guys must save up at least 30k in their bank a/c first then they will have enough confidence to go after the girls that they like.But cannot show the girls that they have 30k in their bank a/c, must pretend and act extremely poor first. Then when it's time to propose, then "chu" their 30k and buy a good proposal ring and propose and surprise the girl.
Guys must act poor in the wallet and bank a/c, but must be really rich in their hearts and minds.
This way they can filter out all those nonsense, demanding and materialistic girls who are not princess material but likes to act like a princess.

In a marriage, relationship, commitment......... $$$$ is always sensitive. I feel that if numbers can determine your marriage, relationship, commitment, then u are not fit to have someone to care, luv u.......... Why do u wanna to depend on the other half? Even he or she earns 10k n above, they have no obligation to spend all the $$$ in the marriage. This should be a 2 ways traffic. Both of us set aside a fair amount for our commitment, then go for others. If both can't even do that, then no need to talk abt marriage or others........
