physical intimacy is included (not sex)
emotional intimacy is fairly included too
not in a relationship
yet not finding or opening options
still faithful
what do you guys think?
friends with benefits
non-commitment flirting fling.
sex with no romance love
2 curious cats who want to explore the other sexual side but scared to do the ultimate move or even worse, too scared to even make known their relationship.

physical means limited to holding hands kissing hugging
emotional means there is an element of love
not in a relationship cuz it ended
but still committed.
means what? im sure not friends with benefits nor is it sex buddies.
i also duno. so i come here and seek the wise forumers' opinions.

"we cannot be lovers, but we can still be friends" relationship
means there's still love

very curious about the commitment and the intimacy levels involved.
i think more than just friends, but what term could represent it?
Means it has only ended terms-wise but not emotionally or physically.
being single yet doing all these...makes me think...
Some will disagree with me but the most important thing is, do you enjoy yourself when you're in him or her? Does being with this person make your toes curl? If the answer is yes, then I say abandon all the labels. Life is short, so live hard. If you're doing everything a couple does when they're in a "relationship" then why be so vexed over the label?
If you guys are not sleeping with each other then you're definitely not fuck buddies or friends with benefits.
Just enjoy yourself and don't think so much. Don't hanker over all these questions no one will be able to answer because whatever happens between the both of you, we don't know.
Keep the loving!
What I meant was, do you enjoy yourself when you're with him or her. There was no pun intended and never will be. My apologies.

thanks a lot. very insightful.
its because she wants to remain single. and she feels bad that she broke the news to me, yet she wants to keep in communication and so do i. so it happened.
sometimes we are happy. happy when we spend time together.
yet unhappy when we talk about being in THE relationship again.

You're welcome. Xiang dang nian, i overheard a similar story in a bar between 2 drunkards, i also gave them the same advice.
One of the few misconceptions people have about relationships are, relationships have to fit their definition.
So what if you are fuck buddies?
I've heard friends describe their past "relationships" in detail and those so called "formal relationships" function no different from the way a fuck buddy r/s functions.
While some others simply refuse to acknowledge an existing meaningful r/s simply because their expectations and definition of one entails so much more.
The human mind is a complicated machine. When you get older, think of what you want, and then consider whether this woman has the ability to meet your needs, vice versa.
Just chill. Status is just a status, if she insists it's not a r/s but she's constantly hangs out with you, kisses you, shows you affection then don't be so vexed. Don't listen to what women say. Watch their actions. Actions tell you a lot more than words.
Being happy together isn't easy. Treasure what you have.
childish.
