Moving Rating: The Village

if there is a show that tests one's patience and endurance, this one wins with hands down.
with anticipation that it's gotta be a thrilling horror movie, i ended up spending most of the time yawning away.
i think the director is trying too hard to replicate another sixth sense.
the entire plot just wanted to make you go "ohhhh... sodesneh" 10 minutes before the end of the show, and thats about it.
my girl is boycotting all future shows produced by shyamalam. i think i prob do likewise. -

today is the first day screening, dont think i wanna do a spoiler. nevertheless, below is the formal introduction to the show:
In M. the logs in which he was painting act as a boundry between the village and the woods.
i reckon he was doing some sorta maintenance to the logs. prob paint to keep out woodworms or as a indicator that the logs is fine. -

as www said, it's building up to a twist... which you can actually see unfolding pretty much after the first bit is given away...
oh well... not too bad a way to spend a few bucks with good company
