by car:FROM WOODLANDS CAUSEWAY CHECKPOINT
If you’re arriving into Singapore from Johor Bahru via the Woodlands Causeway Checkpoint, look for the BKE sign once you’ve cleared customs and immigration. Take the expressway and turn off at PIE (towards Jurong). Take the next exit – Clementi Road Exit – and travel along Clementi Road. Once past the National University of Singapore campus, turn off onto West Coast Road and head towards the city. From here on, just look out for signs that point the way to Sentosa.
FROM CHANGI AIRPORT
Head towards the East Coast Parkway (ECP) towards the City. When you exit at Keppel Road, youÂ’ll find yourself traveling on Telok Blangah Road. From here, just keep a look out for signs pointing the way to Sentosa.
FROM TUAS CHECKPOINT
As you exit from Tuas Checkpoint, also known as the 2nd Link, look for the AYE sign once youÂ’ve cleared customs & immigration. Once on the AYE (or Ayer Rajah Expressway), itÂ’ll be a good 15-20 minutes before you see the exit for Telok Blangah. As you travel along Telok Blangah Road, there will be signs pointing the way to Sentosa.
Will the event still go on if it rains? If it is only drizzling, we will proceed, and pray. Working backwards, most of us will be leaving home around 11am. and if there's a downpour at that time, the event will be cancelled by default. Please consult your friendly organisor for up-to-date info!
Who should I contact?Please contact
jOhO or
www to exchange contact numbers.
I'm going to be late. How am I gonna meet u guys?follow the above guide and you should get there without much of a fuss. you can still contact me if you lost your way.
i would advise u to either be there on the arranged meeting time and venue, or tag along with someone. after all, its better to get lost in pair than be get lost all by yourself...
Will I be bored?By asking this question, you almost guarantee yourself that you will. So do not ask that question, open up and be prepared to have loads of fun!! Try these on for size (yes bikinis come in sizes too, small, extra small, ultra small): beach volleyball, beach soccer, cycling, blading, frisbee, rollerblading, swimming, kayaking, suntaning, photography, the list goes on as far as your imagination!
When will the programme end?We are not a rigid bunch of people, so the concensus will usual determine when where why and how we move on from sentosa. We all gotta eat, so usually that's what we do when night falls.
Why does the poster say FREE when i have to pay $3 to get into Sentosa!??The organisers do not charge for co-ordinating and the effort put in. They also do not have control and have nothing to do with Sentosa's management, which applies the entry fee. I encourage you to buy an "Islander Card" which costs $15 and entitles free entry to Sentosa for a validity period a year.
Any other info I need to know?Food and drink at sentosa come at a premium. Try to eat an early lunch before coming, and bring some water along, if you don't wish to pay premium prices. If you intend to be in the sun, pls bring along sunblock to protect your lovely skin. sunshades are ok too. Female wearing bikinis are to report to jOhO and www to make sure ur safety is adequately catered for. Do not worry about your personal belongings as there will always be someone looking after them, as long as you place it together with the rest of the group. Also, there WILL be at least one digital camera there, to take at least the mandatory group shot. Please advise one of the photographers if you wish your sexy figure be taken in the best possible angle. Photos taken will STRICTLY be for the eyes of those that have attended only. They will only be ready at LEAST one week after the event.
I would really love to go but I don't know anyone and I'm shy!Ever heard of the phrase "First time raw, second time cooked?" If you never bite the bullet to come meet us, you never will! What I can suggest is come EARLY and get to know the organisers first, you will feel more comfortable meeting a small group, and then slowly the others will arrive. It's much better than coming at 4pm when EVERYONE is there and we'll all look at u and go... "WHO DAT?!?!?"
Why is there a band aid on the volleyball? One of the regulars here has a wierd fetish.....
Why are you putting in so much effort to do this?So that YOU can enjoy some healthy activities and make more friends. You can always come up to me discreetly and pass me a bribe if you so wish.
