here's a short review of the concert...
the opening act, P.O. or B.O. or whatever.. the Korean band.. ROCKS!!
they were good!! however, the crowd were so star-struck by Linkin Park, they didn't realise how good that band was... sad..
then the ungodly wait for Linkin Park after the opening band finished their set.. they played great songs, Alice in Chains, ACDC, stuff like that
here's the sad bit.. in order to work the crowd up, they had to play music from another band... a GREAT band... Jane's Addiction...
the engineers or crew or whatever, played 3 Days by Jane's Addiction and used the bridge of the song to get Linkin Park in... it was sad yet a masterstroke as the song did have a dramatic bridge...
Linkin Park went through their hits and saved their best known for last...
ironically, the best song they played was NOT their own!
they played Nine Inch Nails' WISH... man, they were GOOD with that song.. or maybe it was the material?? Trent Reznor did write songs you could NOT ignore...
they ended with One Step Closer after playing Wish...
pretty enjoyable show... except for the little kiddies who were complaining left and right about "why so long, why so hot?" and booing the opening act...
again, strange thing is that they had to use another band's material to come in to... and their best song was another band's....
oh well.. it is Linkin Park
