It seemed that the emotional scenes took away the gloss of the Battle scenes in Troy. The opening scene where Archilles killed that huge bugger with a swift jump and a jab into that man's shoulder... nice!
Indeed, that scene where Archilles dragged the lifeless body of Hector after the duel back to his camp... heart wrenching.

as far as the movie is concerned, he was not there during the first attempt because he was provoked by the king for capturing his fling-to-be.
but if you are refering to their second engagement, which is when the troy tried to sneak attack the greek, brad pitt was not participating as he no longer wanted to be fight the war, not for the king at least.
with reference to what tony told me, the cousin is a fictional character. -

the first attack was when agamemnon led 50k troops, trying to knock down troy's walls but was unsuccessful. thats when the hecta killed the king of sparta.
the second engagement was initiated by the troys, started off with fireballs made out of haystack. that was also when achilies's cousin died. -

the first was the spartans in the land of thessaly when the established peace with troy..
the 'second engagement' is when the allied troops went against the archers of troy outside the city walls..
the 'second engagement' is actually the first after helen was brought to troy.. -

coz the show is about troy, so i never really take the very first war scene into account.. -

y the character's hair always so curly and messy wan........ LOTR also like that.... passion of the christ also like that

... and so happened that those chinese in the olden days have very neat and rebonded hair (especially the guys). e.g. crouching tiger hidden dragon..
as such, i conclude its a fashion thing. -

I heard from alot of people that they cried when Hectare died and then cried again when Achillies died..
I didn't leh.. Am I weird? -
Oh anyways, I give da movie a rating of [outta 5 ]..
Took away that 1 for censoring Helen..
