how do you normally spend your money?
1. make sure you have a $100 before you consider a $50 purchase.
2. spend $50 as soon as you have them.
3. spend $50 even though you dont them.
4. never spent more than $50.
and where do you normally spend your money on?
electronic items?
makan?
travelling?

apart from daily necessities, most of my money is spent on books
(edited coz i put in type (a) instead of type (1) ) -

on makan. Food is exp here.
I always try to block the neural impulses which tell me to spend. Sometimes I lose.

most people who spend money without considering too much about their financial capabilities are optimistically type 2.

i'm not shopacholic ... oni once awhile when i feel like it i go shopping and buy wadever i like ....

i make it a point to meet my only 3 friends every week, and most of my money is spent on such entertainment... bo bian.. my friends' concept of ping min hua is quite high class...

usually only buy things when i need them
but once in a while i just get this urge to shop n i will go on a shopping spree
no limit to wat i spend...just make sure i have enuff money to pay my CC bills in FULL at the end of the month

i try to make sure that i hav enuff to eat at teh end of the month....
i'd spend a lot at first, but will hold back after 1 week..(i get my salary once every 2 weeks)

go back and start planning my savings and expenses.....

1st time walk walk see see
2nd time arm with money go buy
the above applicable for material things
food no need go thru above process....go by mood.....
movies mus see whether i think it's worth watching onot.....
transport is bo bian......but cut down A LOT on cabs liao....... -
Here's how I decide if I'm going to spend on something
1. imagine if I'll be using that thing or have that thing around tomorrow.
2. imagine if I'll be using that thing or have that thing around next week.
3. imagine if I'll be using that thing or have that thing around next month. Chances are if I say "no" to the last question. I'll not buy. -
for me, it's always a case of "too much, too fast"

every mth i spend ard $500 - 150 on transport, close to 100 on magazines and paper, the rest on meals and entertainment. once in a while will go for big ticket items. -

Clothes and accessories I guess.. and pet food, groceries, transport cost, reading materials, and occasionally something fanciful like a lava lamp or queer-looking ornament if i'm really down or if i really loooooove it alot.
But I'm type 1.
