however, you stated the date, time and place, which makes it pretty much like a confirmed outing.
on top of that, there is no stating of if the event is to be carried out.
80% might take it that there is no outing. how about the remaining 20% optimists like what happened last saturday?
wouldnt a simple post such as "i cant get too much responses from this outing and i cant get anyone to book the court for me. i'm afraid i will have to cancel it." save all misunderstandings?
let's take it as a lesson learnt by both organisers and participants to be. -

Actually wuz hopin actually to receive sms from elawee (PMed my contact 2 her) before making my way there ... but didn't receive any
for such outings, I think there's a need to really sms one another on dat day itself or when we reach there, so dat we noe who and where to meet -

Next time just at least post a 'CANCELLED' at least on day in advance, or sms us? You have our contact, we don't have yours.. You 'diam diam', end up nobody can possibly figure out what had happened?
