Are you close to your sibling(s)?

some brothers/sisters are natural-born enemies.
some lucky ones end up as best of friends.
whereas there are some who behave like complete strangers. to them, hi and bye are the most in-depth vocab in their conversations.
so how well do you get along with your sibling(s)?
for single child, would u prefer to have a sibling or remain where u are today? -

my house is like a hotel.......
'strangers' living under one roof.....
daytime we both at work/paktor....
the oni time we communicate is at nite...."oei! i want to use the internet!!"
or in the morning, when getting dressed for work "oei! why u wear my skirt?!"

sad to say, im not close to my elder brother.
and im the only other child.
i always wonder if things could have turned out differently, and how things would be if i had a younger sibling.
perhaps tts wat i m trying to find out now... -
well, i have 2 younger sis, which i call them as da-mei and xiao-mei. i might not treat them as good as i shud, but i do love them.
my da-mei though is married and moved out to stay wif her hubby, i still keep in touch wif her regularly. i consider myself pretty close wif her, where we discuss abt family matters together, giving advices to each other, etc. i even seek her advices on "woman medical problems" for the purpose of knowing my gf better
my xiao-mei is mentally-challenged who is staying together wif me and under my mom's care. becoz of her medical condition, i've to take care of her as a big brother. she's very temperamental and can get into temper very often, but i always try my best to show her my patience and give her something to "hong" her, such as treats or play cartoon vcds for her to watch, etc. -

i have a elder brother, a younger brother and two step-brothers.
elder brother last time very fierce very demanding, now better already...... he sponsoring me money to buy clothes for his wedding, so ok lah not bad...... hahaah
younger brother closer to me, i always buy FOOD gib him..... hahaha....... Bui Zai......
step-brothers are just like strangers living under-one-roof, we dun chat, wu dun greet, we no whatever....... even to my step-mum, address her as auntie nia.......... -

I'm the eldest, with 2 younger sis and a brother. Used to bring the 2 little ones out when they were younger, but not anymore.
They have their own activities in sch and friends to mix arnd with. However, we still talk abt probs and crap. I wouldn't say that we're close, but i'm sure they are the ones who'll be arnd if something should happen. -
am i right to say that:
- most only-child would prefer to have an elder sibling?
- most youngest child in the family would prefer to have someone younger to show their care? -
my sis and i go bowling with friends

I'm the second child in my family and I only have a older brother. Used to fight him day and night when we were young, really can't stand him , but now have got better can talk personal matters when the need arise.
Sometimes I do wish I have a younger sibling, for I want to shower him/her with the care and concern my parents and brother had given me. -

Not close at all. I barely speak to my younger sibling. If we do, its only out of necessity.

when close, really very close
but when both got attitude, can fight n quarrel like enemies
used to be much closer when he was younger though...now he grow up liaoz n i got bf liaoz so dun spend so much time together liaoz
wished i had an elder brother though -
i always think tt i wil love and care for my younger brother alot - if i haf one.
but den when i think again, i realise perhaps its precisely cos i dun haf one now, hence i think this way. i prob wont do so if i really had one.

i got 2 younger bro. One is 6 yr younger (poly) than me the other is 9 yr younger (sec school).
