WinXP or Win2K?

about time to do some formating. my computer cant even hibernate well.
pondering which OS should i use next.
which OS are you people using right now? any particular pros and cons you would like to list out?

i got licensed XP-Home.... which doesn't run very well..
and i got pirated XP-Pro...

my lagtop is using Microsucks Windoze XPee Poorfessional
(there is no typo in the above sentence)
no major complains yet
kinda slow when multi-tasking bcos im using gu dong processor p3 and 256mb RAM and throwing too many things in HDD.......
i love my lao tai po
when i have the money i will get a "la mei" -
hehe... either way, i am installing the pro version, to make sure i have all the features that facilitate my development.
home version's is alright if u are use it only to surf net...

I'm using VXworks, but i more frequently use xp home licensed for major apps. Make sure u get the latest service packs for xp for a smoother, creamier experience.

XP is good. i prefer it much more to 2k

WinXp Pro is quite stable, although it crashed last night.
Damn! Why doesn't Steve Jobs make OSX compaitable with pc machines. Would have earn another fortune. -

if not for the sake of having hands-on experience on how XP works, i would have revert back to 2k without much consideration. -

the OS comes with it, so i dun relli have a choice........

ATi 7500C 32MB dedicated video card
SXGA screen at 1400 x 1050 default resolution
should be enough for a notebook to run xp properly yah?

512RAM(actually 256 is enough for normal non memory consuming activities). -

think it depends on what you want to do on XP. -

2nd guess: it'd undermine the future of their proprietary powerpc hardware given the alternative of a cheaper pc.

my ol' peecee, 650 Athlon, 384 ram still handles w2k fine, would choke on XPee for sure. -
