as one can see from the list, even soccer lovers can be good pilots, not to mention the thread initiator..
nevertheless, it was a good workout for everyone on a temperamental sunday.
organiser was late with apology because of some unforeseen circumstances.
it seems like the sky was awared that sgforums is having an soccer outing today and regulated the atmospheric condition pretty well.
when i was in x-men car, on the way to the destinated venue, it was raining like mad, so was lornie road and steven road before anfuni arrived. but luckily for us, the cloud above was well behaved thruout the game until we decided to call it a day.
even when most of us were there, we couldnt get the game started because we were lacked of the most important equipment: a soccer ball, due to poor communication between the organiser and assigned ball bearer.
anfuni came to the rescue with a ball, though it was like an hour from the predefined time.
the pace of the game was good and the defence on either side was challenging.
....until 15 minutes later.
nelstar was the first casualty, due to over-partying on the prior night.
within a short interval, the other team was 5 goals up and ended the first half with a 5-1 scoreline.
second half commenced pretty quickly before everyone's sweat cool down, and this time round, having slight adjustment to the team members.
again, the game was competitive in the beginning.
anfuni arrived from sim lim to take over nelstar and thats when the scoring spree began.
his impact was obvious and his team was leading, until he decided to hao liao.
playing in front of goal was the last thing a defender should do and the opponent managed to captialise it when he failed to control the ball well enough. and yes, i scored the goal! HAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA.
with that, the second half ended with a 3-3 scoreline.
kinda tiring for a sunday but i hope everyone enjoyed themselves. once again, thank you for participating. -

Hahaa.
It's pretty tiring consider that I haven't exercise like 2 weeks. Almost dropped also. hahaha
Second half more warmed up already.
Thanks x-men for the boots. Fit great but the bottom was coming off. Very dangerous.
Missed a lot of shots. Hahaaha. -

It's an age old tradition between his clan and my clan to fight each other die and chase one another off the turf whenever we see an opposite clan guy on it lor. -

maybe we could run for another one in the coming or next weekend. I had no illusions about my fitness and capabilities with the ball. maybe a few more could do a little benefit though, yea, maybe reduce the handicap a little. -
